About Our Client

Our client is a leading recruitment agency in New Zealand, specialising in providing top talent to businesses across various industries.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Manage daily banking and cash-flow activities
  • Support the Financial Controller in analysing financial trends
  • Engage in ad hoc projects to enhance the finance function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience
  • Studying towards or holding qualified Chartered Accountant status with CA ANZ or a similar professional qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (BC 365 preferred)
