About This Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team at Z Energy NZ. As a Credit and Collections Expert, you'll work closely with commercial customers to answer queries, process credit applications, and follow up on overdue accounts. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your finance experience, liaise directly with customers to find solutions, and work with well-established processes and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer accounts and resolve queries
  • Process credit applications and credit checks
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans
  • Collaborate with the Z account manager for customer portfolios
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support business decisions
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in accounts receivable and collections
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of JDE would be an advantage
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
