The Opportunity
This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide secondary school students to explore vocational training and higher education opportunities, with a focus on increasing Maori and Pasifika student participation. You will work closely with schools, communities, and other stakeholders to promote the pathways and resources available at Skills Consulting Group's Private Training Establishments (PTEs), ensuring students are supported at every stage of their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality career guidance to secondary school students, helping them identify and pursue vocational and higher education pathways.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with schools, educators, and community organisations to foster student engagement and drive enrolments.
3. Collaborate with Maori and Pasifika communities to build trust, promote educational opportunities, and encourage student participation in tertiary education.
4. Stay updated on trends in vocational training, higher education, and best practices in career guidance to ensure effective student support.
5. Monitor and track participation rates and outcomes, using insights to improve outreach strategies and programme offerings.
6. Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote Skills Consulting Group programmes to secondary school students and their families.
7. Participate in career expos, school events, and community gatherings to showcase Skills Consulting Group programmes and connect with potential students.
8. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality career guidance services to secondary school students.
