Forensic Mental Health Specialist

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist services including Court Liaison, prison in-reach mental health care, secure inpatient acute and rehabilitative care, forensic community reintegration, consultation liaison, and hospital level care.
Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering evidence-based care that respects the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We pride ourselves on a well-developed academic culture that encourages research and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Court Liaison and reporting
- Multidisciplinary prison in-reach mental health care
- Secure inpatient acute and rehabilitative care
- Forensic community reintegration
- Consultation liaison to other Mental Health services
- Hospital level care for intellectually disabled offenders
