Job OverviewWe are seeking two permanent, full-time Emergency Medical Assistants or Emergency Medical Technicians to join our team at Huntly Ambulance Station within the Waikato District.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the ambulance and assist with patient care delivery.
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment.
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks.
- A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT level.
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date.
- Good driving record.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
- Genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others.
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
- Evidence of continuing professional education (CCE).
- New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or work visa.
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values: Doing the right thing, Side by side, Straight up, Make it better, Open minds.
