- A current Authority to Practice at Paramedic level from the Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus

- The ability to work under pressure
- Evidence of Continuous Clinical Education (CCED)
