Waitemata District Health Board is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Nursing Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

About the Position

This is a permanent part-time 0.7 FTE position, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing specialist nursing care and expertise to patients admitted to the trauma service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • A proficient or expert Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience ideally in Critical care, Emergency Nursing or Surgical nursing speciality.
  • A current practicing certificate.
  • Post graduate qualification or working towards.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and agility.
  • Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
