Auckland Council is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team, responsible for sourcing Meetings & Conference business aligned with Convention Sales plan priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively source business opportunities from association, corporate sectors, and third parties.
  • Deliver on budget goals by driving development of sales opportunities across designated market segments.
  • Attend domestic and international tradeshow and solicit new business opportunities.
  • Deliver sales proposals, venue site inspections, quotations, and contracts.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a sales or similar role.
  • Understanding of the Meetings/Hotel/Tourism Industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain networks and relationships.
