Business Development Executive

Auckland Council is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team, responsible for sourcing Meetings & Conference business aligned with Convention Sales plan priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Pro-actively source business opportunities from association, corporate sectors, and third parties.
- Deliver on budget goals by driving development of sales opportunities across designated market segments.
- Attend domestic and international tradeshow and solicit new business opportunities.
- Deliver sales proposals, venue site inspections, quotations, and contracts.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a sales or similar role.
- Understanding of the Meetings/Hotel/Tourism Industry.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain networks and relationships.
