Cb & Associates is a leading organization in the food ingredient industry, seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our expanding team.

**Job Summary**

This role involves managing existing account relationships and developing new opportunities in the food ingredient industry.

**Key Accountabilities**

  1. Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, focusing on short-term sales with a sales cycle of 3 to 9 months to deliver growth for a strategic business within the organization.
  2. Develop new opportunities using a sales model and progress them through the selling cycle.
  3. Engage with top 10 accounts weekly, collaborating with at least two other stakeholders.
  4. Prepare for sales calls, assess opportunities, and update the CRM system.

**Ideal Candidate**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4 to 15 years of sales experience, including developing and executing business plans.
  • Experience with specialty ingredients in nutritional bars, snacks, cereals, or confectionery is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and relationships and leverage a strong contact list.

**Benefits**

  • Competitive base salary ($140k - $160k)
  • Bonus eligibility: 15% (5% company performance, 5% personal objectives, 5% individual accounts) + new business incentive (paid twice a year)
