About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to join our Special Care Unit in Hamilton. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to our residents, following individualized care plans and engaging them in activities that promote their well-being.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, demonstrating empathy and kindness in your interactions.
  • Use technology, including our purpose-built care app myRyman, to enhance the resident experience.
  • Take time to learn about each resident's background, interests, and preferences to provide personalized support.

About You

  • Strong empathy and a kind demeanor.
  • A reliable and professional approach to work.
  • The ability to obtain or complete relevant unit standards (or equivalent qualification) within 18 months of employment commencement.
