Business Development Lead

Our Auckland or Wellington marketing team is seeking a talented individual to lead our pursuit of new business opportunities. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the proposal process, facilitating strategic bid processes, and working with partners to develop client relationships.
Main Responsibilities
* Project manage the end-to-end proposal process
* Facilitate strategic bid processes
* Work with legal teams and marketing team to deliver proposals on time
* Develop new client relationships and opportunities with partners and senior lawyers
* Lead, coach, and develop members of the BD and Marketing team
* Drive development of practice areas, sectors, and local markets
Key Skills and Attributes
* First-class project management, organisation, and planning skills
* Strong computer literacy and aptitude for technology (Microsoft Office suite)
* Experience with content management systems (Umbraco) and marketing automation (HubSpot)
* Adobe InDesign/Photoshop experience would be an advantage but not necessary
* Attention to detail including excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience with large law firms or professional services organisations preferred
