About the Role

We're seeking an Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our team at our Napier store. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our shareholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide retail sales and customer service to our shareholders
  • Advising customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products
  • Operating a point of sale (POS) system
  • Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock
  • Restocking and displaying our products

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A background in the farming sector
  • The ability to engage and talk to anyone
  • Retail sales or customer service skills and experience
  • Sound computer skills
  • Physical fitness, as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks

If you have a forklift licence, a first aid licence, or other relevant skills, we'd love to hear about them
