Key Responsibilities
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with best practice guidelines and organisational policies.
- To provide clinical leadership and expertise in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care.
- To enhance community health and equity through provision of advanced care within multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- A current New Zealand practicing certificate.
- Prior experience in a medical centre (desirable).
- Competence in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care.
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong rapport with team members.
- You will ideally hold a current CPR certificate.
- Immunisation and smear taker certificates are desirable but not essential.
