Job Description: As an experienced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinic, reporting to our Medical Director. Your key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions/treatments for patients with complex needs. You will also prescribe and review medication, provide information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication, support patients to adopt healthy lifestyles, and follow-up arrangements for casual patients.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have current registration as a Nurse Practitioner, advanced experience in Acute Nursing, General Practice and Urgent Care nursing experience, and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) would be an advantage. You should also be committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
