Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Acute Nursing, General Practice and Urgent Care nursing experience, and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper triage and patient care
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions/treatments for patients with complex needs
- Prescribing and reviewing medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patient needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols, and within the scope of practice
