About the Role

As Manager Financial Reporting, you will lead a team of four professionals to deliver high-quality external financial reports, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. You will also oversee the effective operation of our financial internal control framework, ensuring compliance with IFRS and all tax requirements.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, and experience in designing and delivering financial/internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in finance management, excellent understanding of manual and system controls, and reconciliations.

In addition to leading the Financial Reporting Team, you will also be responsible for managing Transpower's Treasury back and middle office operations, Customer Credit monitoring and reporting processes, and managing insurance reporting for our captive insurance company and RBNZ returns.
