The Role

We seek a skilled CNC Tech Lead to manage 2nd shift operations with minimal supervision. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who can independently operate and maintain CNC machines, manage production tasks, and collaborate with assemblers to ensure workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines independently during 2nd shift.
  • Collaborate with two assemblers to coordinate workflow and ensure smooth production.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams regarding any production or machine issues.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or CNC coursework preferred.
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Able to work independently and manage production without direct supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, tooling, and basic programming adjustments.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience working alongside assembly teams in a production environment.
  • Skilled in using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality assurance.
  • Able to multitask, troubleshoot, and ensure quality standards are met.
