Welcome to a challenging and rewarding opportunity as an MRI Technologist with Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Radiology Department in the Hutt Valley Hospital.

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. You will also be required to operate and maintain complex medical equipment, as well as develop and implement protocols for patient care and radiation safety.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $92,403-$119,884 per annum, plus additional benefits such as ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a postgraduate qualification in MRI or be registered with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board as an MRI MIT. You should also possess strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and protocols, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
