We offer a competitive remuneration package including a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a generous benefits package.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide Diagnostic Positron Emission Tomography (PET) at our Bowen branch. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing a wide range of diagnostic PET procedures in a professional manner;
  • Providing high-quality data utilizing a PETCT system;
  • Appropriate examinations for clinical indications with efficient use of departmental resources, computerized scan data manipulation, and clear and accurate labeling of data;
  • Maintenance of professional levels of patient care and compliance with moral and ethical codes;
  • Clear communication to patients and support people, keeping them informed of the process, and liaison with wards and other departmental staff as required;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Completion of an approved tertiary diploma or degree or graduate diploma course in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent);
  • NZ MRTB Registration, with current Scope of Practice in Nuclear Medicine;
  • Additional CT Scope of practice is advantageous;
