Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Medical Lead for the Te Toka Tumai Adult Community Mental Health Services group. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide medical leadership, strategic direction, and clinical expertise to our services.

About the Role
As a Medical Lead, you will work collaboratively with the Service Clinical Directors, Operations Manager, and senior leadership team to provide strategic leadership to our Community Mental health services. You will contribute to the development of the medical workforce within adult mental health services and participate in directorate-wide leadership activities as part of the senior leadership group of Kahui O te ihi.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide medical leadership to the Te Toka Tumai Adult Community Mental Health Services group
* Collaborate with Service Clinical Directors and Operations Manager to develop strategic plans for the services
* Contribute to the development of the medical workforce within adult mental health services
* Participate in directorate-wide leadership activities as part of the senior leadership group of Kahui O te ihi

Requirements
* Be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) with a current Annual Practising Certificate or eligible for the same
* Have a strong track record of leadership experience in a clinical setting
* Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Hold a commitment to Te Whatu Ora and Te Toka Tumai espoused values
