**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership to our Adult Community Mental Health Services group.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Service Clinical Directors and Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality medical care is provided to our patients.

This challenging and rewarding role requires a leader who can work collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions and identify opportunities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Te Toka Tumai Adult Community Mental Health Services group
  • Collaborate with the Service Clinical Directors and Operations Manager
  • Ensure high-quality medical care is provided to patients
  • Contribute to the strategic workplan of the medical workforce within adult mental health services

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate practiced leadership skills, have a commitment to quality and safety, and excellent communication skills.

You will also need to hold a current Annual Practising Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand and be vocationally registered.
