Job Description

The Medical Lead will work collaboratively with the Service Clinical Directors of the Adult Community Mental health services; the Service Clinical Director of Manawanui Oranga Hinengaro and Lotofale and the Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership to our Community Mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the medical care provided to the Tangata Whaiora of Te Toka Tumai is of a high standard.
  • Contribute to the strategic workplan of the medical workforce within adult mental health services.
  • Provide professional leadership to this psychiatry group.
  • Participate in directorate wide leadership activities as part of the senior leadership group of Kahui O te ihi.
