Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a small team.

The Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic requires you to undertake nurse anaesthetic triaging, nurse facilitated anaesthetic assessments, and nursing support for the Anaesthetist clinics.

  • This role involves working across three floors of our outpatient facility providing nurse-led clinics, nursing support, and care for many different specialties.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for building effective relationships with patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurse anaesthetic triaging and nurse facilitated anaesthetic assessments
  • Nursing support for the Anaesthetist clinics
  • Work as part of the wider Outpatient nursing team
  • Building effective relationships with patients and colleagues

About You:

  • 3+ years nursing experience
  • Recent Surgical or Outpatient nursing experience preferred
  • Completion of post-graduate Health Assessment course
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build effective relationships with a strong patient focus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
