We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Canterbury District Health Board. As a member of our Senior Nursing Team, you will provide expert clinical advice and guidance to nursing staff on critical care issues and develop educational programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
About the Role
In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide advanced clinical care and nursing expertise to patients and their families. You will be responsible for conducting quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practice.
Requirements
- Graduate Certificate or higher relevant to Intensive Care Nursing.
- Current experience working in a New Zealand Intensive Care environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Initiative, solution-focused with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
