Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Casual capacity. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will have the opportunity to lead caregiver teams, improve your skills in evidence-based clinical assessments, and pursue specialist pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication management, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account resident preferences and goals.
- Lead and mentor caregiver teams, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
- Pursue specialist pathways, such as palliative care or gerontological nursing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- NZ Registration and current Practicing Certificate.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathy and passion for helping and caring for the elderly.
- A team player with honesty and integrity.
