Your Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our licensed team in the Lower North Island and South Island. This role offers a unique chance to build a high-performing team from the ground up and drive growth in this new division.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a team of high-performing territory managers, focusing on trade-based coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure consistent execution of key metrics, including call compliance and coverage, distribution, display execution, and new product launches.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding the existing customer base.
- Design and implement sales and marketing programs, such as promotional activities and new product launch strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Suntory standards across your team.
Your Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing field sales teams, ideally in licensed or FMCG environments.
- A gemba mindset, with a deep understanding of customers' needs and market trends to stay competitive.
- Effective hands-on leadership, with a passion for coaching team members and contributing to the team's success.
- Proven track record of building new customer relationships and nurturing existing ones.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both within and outside the organization.
