Wellington Women’s House is a unique provider of low-cost, transitional accommodation to women in Wellington. Established in 1992, the organization offers a supportive and inclusive environment for residents. The House has a small team of staff and a Management Committee that provides governance and management functions.
The Role
This part-time position is responsible for delivering the organization's kaupapa and vision. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a small team and developing relationships with partner organizations. Knowledge of homelessness and its challenges, particularly in relation to women, is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading a small team of staff
- Developing and maintaining relationships with partner organizations
- Managing finances and applying for grants
- Working with the Management Committee to achieve organizational goals
