We are seeking a skilled Procurement Leader to spearhead innovative procurement strategies within the health industry. As a true people leader, you will foster collaborative and strategic thinking to drive organisational success.
The role involves:
- Leading and developing a team of procurement professionals
- Monitoring and coaching team performance to achieve desired outcomes
- Overseeing consistent procurement processes and activities
- Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining connections with the wider procurement team
- Providing direction for alignment with business objectives
- Cultivating best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
You will have:
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading procurement teams
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in procurement
- Experience within the health sector is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain high-level stakeholder relationships
- Success in driving organisational change and executing strategies
- Applied knowledge in New Zealand Government Procurement Rules
- Knowledge and experience with the use of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
