Administrative Manager for Indigenous Strategic Framework

About the Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as an Administrative Manager for Indigenous Strategic Framework. In this role, you will provide secretariat support for the Maori Health Committee and manage project administration for MHC and Indigenous Strategic Framework focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Maori Health Committee, including preparing and attending meetings.
- Develop and implement strategies to advance the Indigenous Strategic Framework, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Manage the MHC email inbox and oversee activities related to the MHC work stream.
- Monitor and analyse political and policy developments relevant to Maori health.
- Advocate for supportive policies and communicate the committee's voice.
- Collaborate with relevant college committees and strategic partners to deliver on this work.
- Maintain ongoing communication and provide proactive updates to ensure alignment of initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, providing high-level secretariat support to committees.
- In-depth understanding of Te Ao Maori and Hauora Maori, health inequities and colonial trauma.
- Proven project administration, management and assistance experience.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- Capacity to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and deadline management.
