We achieve this through our world-renowned genetics and technology products, which create more sustainable and profitable farms.About the roleThis is a customer relationship and sales role, where you'll work closely with customers on-farm to understand their goals and challenges, and provide them with data-driven solutions to add value to their farms. The role is responsible for a territory in the Manawatu area, where there is huge opportunity, and you will be well supported to achieve great results.Key focus areas include:Maximising relationships with existing customers, and actively building relationships with new customers.Successful implementation of LIC solutions and the achievement of sales targets in your area.Identifying new business opportunities with existing and new customers.Undertaking educational and promotional initiatives with farmers.About YouMaking connections and building relationships will come easily to you, and you'll genuinely enjoy customer interactions. Having a background in dairy would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll understand and empathise with the unique challenges our farmers face, and build trust and credibility with them.You'll be able to use data and insights to make effective decisions and you'll use this information to come well-prepared to your customer visits.You'll also demonstrate:Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and proactively manage your day.Be results-focused with a track record of achieving great sales results.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, internally and externally.Great problem-solving skills and ability to match solutions to customers.Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.A tertiary qualification in this field is advantageous.In returnIn addition to a competitive salary, plus incentive bonus and company car, you'll receive extra leave days, flexible working options and discounted health, life, income and disability insurances.
