Auckland One Rail is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented CRL Programme Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis.
This pivotal role will support the business administration, financial, and project control functions for the City Rail Link (CRL) programme.
As a CRL Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and efficient management of all programme activities.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with the fixed term ending on 31 March 2026.
This role will be predominantly based in our Queen Street Depot in the city, although occasional work from other locations may be required, including the Link Alliance office in Newmarket and the CRL stations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme controls - coordinate reporting on the CRL programme's progress to internal and external stakeholders, identify challenges and track financials including expenses and budget monitoring.
Support the CRL delivery team to monitor risks and track mitigation efforts.
Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly financial claims.Administration - oversee administrative functions including scheduling, documentation management, and procurement of necessary resources for the team.
Manage the CRL Document Controller and ensure that programme and safety case documentation is organised efficiently.
Support the Director of CRL Operations to ensure activities align with programme plans and schedules.Commercial and contract variations - manage and document commercial and contract variations, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and compliance with commercial policies and procedures.Communication - serve as the main point of contact for the CRL Delivery team, facilitating effective communication amongst stakeholders.
Ensure timely and clear updates and reports are sent to the team and wider organisation.
Manage project-related correspondence and maintain accurate records for compliance purposes.What You Will BringStrong experience in project coordination, ideally within large-scale infrastructure programmes or similar.Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and track expenses.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in managing contract variations and commercial compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.A collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.We are looking for a professional with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You should have a proven track record of making data-driven decisions and the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field preferred.Experience in project administration, financial management, or a similar role.Ability to read and interpret financial information.Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, financial management systems).Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience in project administration and control functions, including commercial and contract management.Demonstrated expertise in managing financial projections, budgets, and monthly claims.Experience in documenting contract variations and ensuring compliance with contract terms.Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports on financial and project performance.Previous involvement in managing project-related correspondence and documentation.Proficient in using financial management and project administration software.Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Applicants must have the current right to work and preferably be based in Auckland, New Zealand.
