We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Coordinator to support the business in delivering transformational outcomes.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a highly efficient programme coordination service to our stakeholders.
Our Programme Coordinator will adapt existing programming tools and templates to successfully initiate, control, and ensure delivery of Customer & Network Performance programmes.
Supporting programme owners and stakeholders to design and shape programmes is key, as is validating and verifying programmes and monitoring progress to ensure programme milestones and targets are met.
Reporting is an important part of this role, where producing clear and accurate progress reports and other technical information, including risks, issues, and areas of potential concern, will be an essential element of this busy and varied role.
We are looking for a person with a tertiary degree in Business Management, Programme Management, or similar, and a minimum of five years' experience in Programme Coordination, Project Coordination, Procurement, or similar.
Experience working in a challenging and complex environment would be ideal, as well as experience working in the start-up and initiation phases of programmes.
Our ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate: An excellent knowledge and understanding of Programme and Project Management disciplinesA high level of commercial acumenA high degree of resilience and the ability to work autonomouslyA collaborative working styleAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelIntermediate proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Visio) and experience with using SAP, SharePoint, and Business Objects is desirableProblem identification, analysis, and resolutionAt Auckland Transport, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued, and supported, inclusive of our differences.
