Our values reflect who we are, how we work, and the legacy we build within our market and community.Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and proactive Administrator Team Leader to lead our dynamic administration team. You will oversee legal administrators, office administrators, and receptionist roles within our Auckland office. This role involves collaborating with the Business Support Manager and Risk and Compliance Advisor to ensure seamless service delivery for our clients and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadershipLead, guide, and support the administration team, managing workloads, scheduling, and leave to maintain optimal team coverage.Identify team learning needs and coordinate training to build skills and capability.Engage with Partners and senior team members to ensure legal administration requirements are met.Workflow ManagementOversee requests through our ticketing system, managing job assignments based on priority and capacity.Coordinate with Office Assistants and manage tasks such as document bundling and court filings.Work with outsource partners as required, ensuring smooth mailbox and ticket dashboard operations.Training and DevelopmentIdentify training opportunities and organise sessions with authors or external trainers.Promote continuous learning through case studies and practical examples.Client MattersEnsure compliance with AML and other requirements, overseeing the maintenance of client and matter information.Act as the escalation point for complex AML matters and ensure accurate data management.Legal Administration SupportProvide support as needed, including document preparation, Winscribe dictation, billing assistance, and debt collection.Process ImprovementContribute ideas to improve team efficiency and firm-wide processes.Skills and QualificationsProven experience in administration management, ideally within a legal or professional environment.Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes, record-keeping requirements, and risk management practices.Experience in team leadership or staff management.Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and ethical standards.Why Anthony Harper?We partner with people and organisations looking for progress.
