About the role Te Kaika Wellbeing Hub is a 'one stop shop' of integrated services established as a Treaty-based partnership between Te Kaika - Otakou Health, Te Manatu Whakahiato Ora - Ministry of Social Development and Health NZ.
The purpose of this role is to provide friendly, efficient, and professional reception and service support to Te Kaika Wellbeing Hub, Health NZ Southern and referral loading waitlisting support to Outpatient services.
Tasks include but are not limited to: providing reception and front counter servicemanaging electronic and paper filing systems and procedures relevant to the Te Kaika Wellbeing Hub, enabling quick access to informationmanage meeting room bookings and provide administrative support for booked appointmentsprocessing internal and external referrals to the outpatient specialitiesoutcoming accepted and declined referrals and production of associated correspondencesupporting the teams to log onto computers and troubleshoot any IT problems incurred.About the Team/Service/Location Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.

About you We are looking for a strong team player who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Our ideal candidate will have: previous customer service experience and have experience implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangithe ability to work well in a team and foster good interpersonal relationshipshigh attention to detailexcellent computer skills: proven experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook (email) with the ability to learn other job-specific programmes.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
