Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced People and Culture Advisor to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand.
As a key member of our People Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organisational culture, supporting employee engagement, and driving HR initiatives that align with our company's values and goals.You will be the first point to our shared service teams (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT), providing them with support and guidance across the full remit of HR.
Reporting to the P&C Manager, you will also work alongside her to support the Operations (Production, Warehouse and Supply) Team.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to foster a positive work environmentProvide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, career development, and employee relationsIdentify training needs and supporting the delivery of training initiatives that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce.Collaborate with leadership to design and execute engagement initiatives that foster employee engagement, satisfaction and retentionAssist in the administration of compensation and benefits programsManage all induction programmes and activities for all new employees including the monthly review process for the first three monthsConduct HR data analysis and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-makingHandle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalismQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:Proven experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally in Manufacturing or industrial settingDemonstrated experience in employee relations and performance managementStrong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, procedures and HR best practiceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organizationA personable, hard-working and flexible attitudeConfidence in dealing with people and leading difficult situations escalating issues when neededConflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretionExceptional organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for liaising with employees at all levels as well as external stakeholdersStrong MS office skillsAdditional InformationWhat we can offerHealth insurance cover: Hospital Base Plan + 3 GP VisitsEmployee Assistance Program – free counselling and wellbeing supportFree onsite parkingSubsidised onsite CafeANZ Benefits package - discounts for personal bankingCareer growth and developmentThe stability of a successful, privately owned NZ companyIf you are looking for a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and knowledge and within a fun, tight knit team then touch base with us.
