Reporting directly to the People & Talent Lead, this role offers a wonderful opportunity to support essential HR functions, including HR related administration and analysis across the employee lifecycle.As a key player in our team, you'll drive employee engagement through exciting events, become the go-to expert for our HRIS solution (ELMO), help improve our employee lifecycle-related processes and systems, and assist with the recruitment processes when required.
With your keen analytical skills, you'll uncover and report on trends that will pave the way for our success.We have an existing arrangement with an external HR consultancy to provide HR specialist guidance for complex HR matters.
As such this is a great role for someone who is an intermediate-level HR professional, as you'd be able to shadow and learn from our external HR specialist, whilst having your own responsibilities to drive forward as a key member of the People & Culture team.Depending on your level of experience, this full-time role could be a 32 hour position over 5 days per week.Skills and experience | Nga pukenga me nga wheakoCompleted tertiary qualification in Human Resources (preferred though not essential) or related disciplineRelevant experience or strong understanding of HR and NZ employment law.Experience working with HRIS systems (ELMO would be advantageous)Some knowledge or experience with the immigration process (job checks and visa compliance) would be nice to havePassionate about the employee lifecycle from recruitment to engagement.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.Proactive, enthusiastic, with excellent relationship-building skills.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise and resolve tasks efficiently.Ability to learn new processes and evolve existing systems.Competency in MS Office with the ability to quickly pick up new software.About us | Mo matouWe have 30 years of experience as a New Zealand-owned technology consultancy.
