We care about the communities where we live and work and are guided by principles of inclusiveness, kaitiakitanga and excellence.Job DescriptionClarus is seeking a proactive Technology Initiative Specialist to lead the identification and evaluation of emerging technologies that align with Clarus's business goals. This role will be key in identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies that align with Clarus's strategic objectives. As a thought leader in technology, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to champion the adoption of cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.Additionally, you will develop and lead the technology scouting and discovery methodology, staying ahead of industry trends and market advancements to inform technology initiatives. You will lead technology trials from ideation to evaluation, managing a pipeline of emerging technology projects and supporting the trials process across the business.QualificationsWhat you will bring:Bachelor's degree in business, management, innovation, change management or related field.3-5 years of project work, change and/or improvement experienced at a senior level.Project management expertise such as budgeting, project planning and vendor management.Experience in the energy sector.Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and their business applications.Excellent written, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to assess and prioritise technology opportunities based on business needs and objectives.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to travel as needed.Additional InformationKo te aha nga hua o tenei mahi? - What can we offer you?Clarus offers a culture that embraces productivity and integrity, encourages proactive thinking and rewards achievement.
