We are currently seeking an exceptional Learning Manager who is ready to tackle the demanding challenges of our Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental program.
This role demands a high level of commitment and expertise, as it will significantly impact engagement, performance enablement, and measurement, driving our people's success at its core.
If you are a high achiever who thrives on partnership, collaboration, and inventive solutions to complex problems, then join us and make a profound impact on the lives and careers of our peopleYour Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement innovative, high-impact learning and leadership development offerings, including train-the-trainer approaches, that align with our HSSE organizational values and goals, requiring excellence and dedication.Develop agile and iterative design and development approaches that enhance participation and provide meaningful feedback.Manage HSSE content libraries, ensuring materials are easy to access, updated as needed, reflect the highest standards of quality, and are readily available for use within the team and with other collaborators.Perform rigorous needs assessments to ensure the most effective and innovative approaches are being taken at the right time, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.Review and report on training data and analytics across Stantec to identify learning and development trends, return-on-investment, and forecast future requirements, showcasing your ability to drive high performance and strategic insights.Effectively manage and lead diverse project teams, inspiring them to achieve exceptional results and rise to the challenges presented.Collaborate with worldwide regional colleagues, emphasizing successful learning approaches, integrated methodologies, and consistent HSSE program experiences, while pushing the boundaries of what is possible.Manage and collaborate with vendors for learning delivery and design.Coach and inspire team members to innovate, bring fresh ideas, and new approaches, continually driving the best solutions and setting a high bar for performance and dedication.Your Capabilities and CredentialsExhibit an exceptional understanding of adult learning and behavioral science principles, including identifying measurements for outcomes, ensuring accountability, and rigorously tracking and reporting on progress, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.Possess solid business acumen and extensive experience in translating current and anticipated business training needs into strategic learning initiatives, priorities, and plans, showcasing your ability to drive high performance.Demonstrate excellent presentation skills, including extensive experience in effective "train-the-trainer" approaches, setting a high bar for communication and training performance.Exhibit solid project management skills with the ability to lead multiple high-impact projects concurrently, demonstrating ability to consistently deliver high quality training solutions.Showcase exceptional listening skills and the ability to interact, influence, and cultivate relationships when communicating complex concepts and innovative ideas.Be a continuous learner who stays at the forefront of advancements in adult learning, with strong conceptual and critical thinking skills to drive progressive and high-impact learning solutions.Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Education, Business, or another applicable area.Minimum of eight years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.What we offerAlong with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.Flexible Working Arrangements including purchasing up to 4 weeks additional leave and provision for school term contracts.Learning and Talent Development Programs including global programmes, online learning and on-the-job learning.Mentoring for your own development.Professional Memberships.Health Insurance – Income Continuance Insurance (ICI) – Life Insurance.Service Recognition Awards.Employee Assistance Program.How to applyPlease apply directly online, applications close Friday 17th January 2025.No Agency CVs will be accepted.
