**The Role**:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Auckland Airport team as the Training Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analysing existing and future learning and development needs on an organisational, team and individual basis across the whole organisation.
- Analysing requirements for monitoring and managing the learning and development function based on operational requirements and compliance with current and planned certifications.
- Developing training manuals and other training aids. Maintain standard practice manuals and prepare and issue training handbooks, bulletins and similar publications as required.
- Delivering training courses including accredited courses across a broad range of areas, some of which include customer service, management, work, health safety and hard skills for cleaning and other frontline areas.
- Overseeing and evaluating internal and external training programs to ensure training is delivered to an accredited standard.
- Contributing to the leadership development program for our management team.
- Liaising with other companies, training organisations and associations to monitor training developments and new courses.
- Liaising with colleagues on training options including government and tertiary systems and courses, and other training pathways.
- Contributing to the development of in-house Cert III Cleaning training and assessment and deliver program across the organisation.
- Maintaining training records and documentation, report on compliance to management.
- Delivering Company Inductions as required.
- Consulting with Assetlink clients (e.g. Auckland Airport) in relation to training requirements.
- Ordering and issuing of all staff uniforms.
- Driving and maintaining the integrity of Customer Experience Program (CXP)
- Leading, developing and contributing to all Toolbox talks.
**Role Requirements**:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
- Certificate III Cleaning Operations
- A qualification in Business Management will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience as a Training Manager
- Knowledge of current technology to support learning and development is essential.
- Experience in both corporate and blue-collar environments preferable.
- Experience in training people with multicultural backgrounds and people with English as a second language, will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Some familiarity with People & Culture and Work Place Health & Safety processes.
- Understanding of FM business to deliver hard skills training with credibility
- Understanding of traineeship programs and Real Time Operation Systems (RTOs).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and generally IT savvy skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Must have a valid work right in New Zealand
