This busy role is based in reception at our Aspiring Enliven Care Home in Wanaka.
You will greet visitors in person and over the phone and provide professional and friendly service.You will undertake a wide range of administration activities including maintaining key database systems, assisting in recruitment and onboarding activities, placing orders, taking minutes, completing paperwork, invoicing, liaising with external parties, preparing for new staff or residents, managing residents' money and other general admin duties.
As an integral part of the administrative team, you will directly support the manager with a variety of tasks such as staff rostering, booking training, event management/coordination and managing staff competencies.Hours: This is a permanent part-time position of 8 hours per week to be worked 4hrs/day, 0900-1300hrs on Thursday and Friday.About YouWe would love you to:Be customer service focusedHave good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbalHave good organisational, time management and planning skillsBe professional, responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality and privacyBe self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and use your initiativeBe able to show empathy for people from all walks of lifeHave at least 2 years of relevant experience working in a reception / administration roleHave excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.What We OfferBeing part of a well-known and highly respected charitable organisationJoining a team that makes a real difference in people's livesPersonal growth and career development opportunitiesWorking with a team of passionate peopleOn-the-job trainingDiscounts with local businessesThis is not a corporate job; we are working in older people's home.
