As a team, we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to redirect, neutralise and use waste.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Asset Manager to oversee our enterprise asset management system, including 'whole of life' process from point of introduction into service until disposal. This position will be based in Wellington looking after our Lower North Island, South Island and Circular Services divisions.ResponsibilitiesOversee the enterprise asset management system, ensuring assets are managedthrough to disposal, maximizing value and minimizing costs.Spearhead the integration of fixed assets into the JDE Capital Asset Management system.Provide data-driven insights to develop proactive, informed, and optimized maintenance plans for mobile and fixed plant, fleet, and equipment.Audit and report on asset availability, lifecycle costs, preventive maintenance (PM), compliance, and replacement schedules.Work closely with divisional regional managers to ensure assets are maintained in line with company safety standards, policies, and budget requirements.Collaborate with divisional GMs and other asset managers to implement consistent maintenance practices and leverage the JDE-based system for work order processing, planning, and scheduling.Partner with IT and technical teams to develop innovative asset maintenance processes, leveraging advancements in asset technology.QualificationsAbout youOur ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and leadership skills to drive success in this role.
