Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Full time ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a fast-growing consultancy, where innovation and growth are at the heart of what they do. Their team of technology strategists, architects, and engineers have a broad range of experience, from start-up to enterprise, across financial services, payments, banking, insurance, healthcare, AI, etc. With a culture that promotes creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Currently a team of 13 engineers working with clients at large enterprise level to small start-up. With a big focus on large scale digital transformation projects, they partner closely with businesses. They take pride in guiding customers on every step of the digital journey, from strategy through to execution and implementation. ABOUT THE ROLE As they continue to grow, there is a lot of opportunity for them to partner with more of New Zealand's leading organisations and offer partnership capabilities to engineering teams. These partnerships can come in a range of different forms from working on a whole transformation project to providing an extra pair of hands during a period of growth. We're looking for someone to come on board and drive these opportunities while focusing on growing their customer base, developing their sales strategy, and building relationships with senior technology managers & leaders. This is a founding sales role so you will be building the sales strategy from the ground up. There is a lot of opportunity to shape this role and make it your own while ultimately building out their sales & customer team over time as the business grows. You'll be responsible for: Market Research: Industry Trends: Stay informed about emerging trends and market dynamics to identify potential partnership opportunities. Competitive Landscape: Monitor competitors to spot gaps or opportunities for them to gain a competitive edge through partnerships. Key contacts: Identify key decision makers in organisations who you can forge relationships with. Outreach and Engagement: Prospecting: Develop a targeted list of potential partners and create personalised outreach strategies. Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the benefits of partnering with potential partners. Partnership Development: Proposal Crafting: Prepare tailored proposals that outline the benefits and objectives for both the company and the new partner. Negotiation: Collaborate with potential partners to finalise terms and agreements that ensure a successful partnership. Regular Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of partnership performance to assess effectiveness. Action Plans: Develop actionable plans to address any issues and share them with partners to ensure continuous improvement. ABOUT YOU: You excel in forging strong, 1:1 relationships and genuinely enjoy connecting with others. Your ability to speak the language of technology and champion partnerships sets you apart. You have experience working with technology teams and building a network of technology leaders. You are motivated by growth and are adept at executing high standards. Your strategic mindset allows you to spot opportunities and devise effective strategies to drive results. You are kind, intelligent, and possess a growth mindset. Your approach combines thoughtful execution with a genuine passion for making an impact on clients' technology needs.
