If you require an adjustment to be made during the recruitment process, you're welcome to let us know.DutiesJob DescriptionLead your shift team, with your effective communication skills, and leading by example.Share your passion for food & beverage with our upscale guests.Assist with on-boarding and training new team members.Strive to maintain the highest quality standards in food & beverage.Undertake strict hygiene & safety practices and hold responsibility for your shift's financial performance.Detailed DescriptionEnsure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations.Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.Maintain control of restaurant service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carrying out regular stock takes.Maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the restaurant to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests arriving.Ensure staff are competent in dining menu and wine list knowledge and can maximise sales to guests.Ensure the front-of-house and back-of-house areas are clean and tidy.Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.Use department procedure manuals as a base for all service procedures training.Properly induct new staff into the team, department and hotel in the first week of their employment.Ensure that all staff under your control carry out their duties in accordance with the service standards and procedures manuals to meet departmental and hotel service standards and brand standards.Effectively use the results of Guest Book and guest questionnaires to improve product and service delivery.Openly communicate with staff ensuring regular briefings occur and all relevant information is passed onto staff.Delegate duties so all aspects of the shift are covered.Lead by example to maintain good staff morale.Manage staff within performance guidelines outlined in the handbook.Ensure that all staff adhere to the licence conditions held by the premise.Ensure responsible service of alcohol to all guests by staff.Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers (internal or external) are positive and productive.Establish and take all practicable steps to maintain safe working conditions and practices.Take a positive problem solving approach with issues and concerns; call the Manager on Duty if difficulties arise.Attend regular meetings with the Restaurant Manager.30 hours guaranteed$29.66 - $31.14Roster including weekend and public holidaysQualificationsWork Experience:2 years minimum experience in an upscale restaurant environment.LCQ Certificate & wine knowledge.Projects professional image at all times through strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport easily.Desire and ability to train and develop staff.BenefitsWe offer competitive wages as well as daily staff meals, uniform and a fun and supportive environment.Talk to us about our incredible referral program where you could receive up to $600 paymentNot to mention working for world-leading Global Hotel Company, Accor, with ongoing awards and recognition and opportunities for unparalleled training opportunities, further development, worldwide career development, and discounted stays, food and drink, and Spa treatments, worldwide
