Working as part of the sales team, the Business Development Manager (APAC) will be responsible for expanding and managing our network of aviation customers across commercial airlines in the Asia Pacific region and growing our Dealer/Installer network of General Aviation and Helicopter sales and service operators across the Asia Pacific and Americas (US & Canada) regions.
The Business Development Manager (APAC) will be the key driving force in building new customer relationships and expanding our Dealer and Installer network through targeted proposals and presentations spanning our catalogue of new and existing parts.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target and secure new customers across the aircraft interiors market in your regions.Generate and qualify new leads through various channels including outreach calls (cold calling), face to face visits and industry events.Deliver sales presentations to prospective customers (virtually and in person), highlighting the value and benefits of our products and services.Support projects through to closure via customer communication, technical support (with help from sales technical team) and in-person fitting tests.Drive sales revenue through upselling and cross-selling to new and existing customers.Serve as a customer advocate within the company, collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align on strategies and support customer success initiatives.Grow and develop our Dealer and Installer network for General Aviation and Helicopter interiors.ExperienceMinimum of 3 Years in New Business Development Sales (Technical Industry Preferred).Cold calling experience and ability to 'open doors' to build professional relationships with new customer prospects across a range of stakeholder levels throughout sales region.Experience with international sales and customer networks.Demonstrated interest and/or knowledge of aircraft interiors, seat covers and cushions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships across a range of stakeholder levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and strategy.Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Manage monthly, quarterly, yearly and long-term planning tools to facilitate management review and direction, including forecasting.Experience using Salesforce CRM, or similar CRM.Who we are looking forAn aviation enthusiast or professional with a very strong and hungry sales hunter personality.
You will be the driving force of our new business development across APAC and North America, so you must be willing and excited to pick up the phone and build relationships, leads and growth opportunities.While you may not have an initial network of Aviation connections (although it's a bonus if you do), you'll be quick to build this network across your region and your keen interest in all things Aviation, especially interiors, will drive your conversations with customers and prospects to feel the strong values that Generation Global uphold.You will be self-driven to constantly find and develop new business opportunities through prospecting on the phone and in-person, while being resilient and persistent to maintain the hustle every day.You're not afraid of knocking on doors, meeting with a wide range of stakeholders and pay close attention to detail when speaking with a customer to identify their needs, motivations and how to win their business in a competitive market.
