This role goes beyond traditional administration.
It's about driving strategy, streamlining operations and ensuring their team operates at its best.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll oversee critical business functions, proactively driving initiatives across HR, systems and team support.With strong judgment, commercial acumen and a focus on continuous improvement, you'll support strategic planning and execution to help achieve sustainable growth and long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations & Systems: Develop, manage and enhance operational processes to drive efficiency.Leadership Support: Partner with senior leadership to execute strategic plans and manage day-to-day operations.HR & Recruitment: Lead HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employment processes and team career development.People & Culture: Be the key point of support for the team, fostering a collaborative and engaging workplace culture.Marketing & Communications: Support marketing initiatives, maintain website content and ensure brand consistency.Health & Safety: Maintain and enhance health and safety systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.Financial Oversight & Reporting: Collaborate with finance and business administration teams to provide oversight and reporting.What We're Looking ForA proactive individual with initiative and strong judgment.Proven experience in business operations, ideally within professional services.Analytical mindset with experience in implementing effective systems and processes.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Commercially minded and financially aware, with a focus on people and culture.Previous HR experience or an understanding of employment law is advantageous.Tech-savvy, adaptable and eager to streamline systems and workflows.Preferred Skills & AttributesExperience and strong understanding of professional services business (construction industry experience is not essential but is an advantage).Ability to work independently, take ownership and drive initiatives.Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving capabilities.Hungry, smart and driven to add long-term value to the business.What TOBA Projects OfferPartner with leadership to shape systems, processes and culture.Career development pathways, including leadership opportunities.A chance to contribute to the growth and success of a high-performing team.A full-time, office-based role in a centrally located office with a collaborative and supportive team.Competitive salary and benefits.Role commences early 2025.If you're looking for a pivotal, people-focused role where you can make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.Please note this recruitment process is being managed exclusively by Bureau Ltd.
