You'll be the central information point for all internal staff and external visitors to the Auckland Council offices in Albany and Auckland Central.This busy role will see you greeting and welcoming guests and staff, directing them appropriately, and providing a range of administration tasks.
You will also take on a building support function and play an active part in the security of the building by managing the security access of all visitors to the building and ensuring that all appropriate health and safety requirements are adhered to.
You will be working with other Workplace Site Support personnel to ensure our council shared spaces in our Albany and Auckland Central offices are looked after, creating a great experience for our staff.You are a self-motivated individual with a high degree of initiative and the ability to balance competing demands.
As you'll be working with both internal and external customers, you'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and can-do attitude.
The role involves the set-up and break-down of meeting rooms, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
