Follow up with areas for corrective improvements.Promote evidence-based practices in nursing care delivery.Ensure written policies, procedures, and work processes are available and up to date to guide nursing care delivery.Care DeliveryEnsure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible.Direct care of the residents to ensure compliance with standards.Staff ResourceEnsure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services.Staff DevelopmentDirect and facilitate staff development, skills, and competency upgrading through various opportunities.
These may include formal education, in-house training, or approved online learning programmes.Guide orientation/induction programmes and preceptorship for all new staff.Support the Director of Nursing in nursing home management and deputize in her absence.Job RequirementsAdvanced Diploma / Degree in Nursing.At least 4 years of clinical or management experience as Nurse Manager.Nursing Home experience preferred.Registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.Working Days: Monday - Friday, Saturday once a month based on rostering.
