Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Nurse to join our team. As a Radiation Therapy Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individual patient care and services with regards to specific nursing competencies such as doing dressings and cannulating patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with department manager, radiation oncologists, therapists and other relevant staff to facilitate ongoing departmental processes.
- Manage and keep track of patients' laboratory and imaging studies results.
- Provide good practical skills and lead a team of patient care assistants and health attendants in the area assigned to.
- Deliver individual patient care and services with regards to specific nursing competencies.
- Display confidence and be well-versed in briefing patients prior to all radiation therapy procedures.
