Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Patient Support Specialist to join our Virtual Care Centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to medical queries received via our 24/7 integrated telephone hotline, triaging calls, and providing support to patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to medical queries via our 24/7 hotline
- Triage calls and escalate to VCC Nurse or Doctor as necessary
- Capture accurate information in call system and NGEMR (EPIC)
- Follow up on clinical calls after 2 weeks to review patient disposition
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Nursing, Social Work, or Allied Health. A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in healthcare industry, contact centre environment, and/or service-related industry is also required. You must be able to perform rostered staggered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
