Sales Administration And Marketing Coordinator

UNIFORM GROUP is a highly respected New Zealand owned company within the national uniform industry and our product and approach is known to be innovative and of great quality. UNIFORM GROUP is a privately owned company established in 1991, specialising in uniform design, manufacture and supply directly to schools, government departments, corporate and sports teams. In addition to our wholesale business we have 18 school uniform retail shops throughout NZ under THE U SHOP brand.
This role is a sales and customer administration / marketing hybrid role. It covers many things including customer interactions, follow ups, creating simple marketing material and many other interesting aspects. The role will suit a structured and creative personality with natural and practical tendencies who can multitask, take ownership of the role and provide pivotal support to the team. It is a "jack of all trades" role with the opportunity to show your competency and skills. You have to be a strong detail orientated person though.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE: MARKETING Develop marketing material for uniform shop digital and email marketing campaignsMonitor all media coverageMarketing Skills you need Competent Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator skills are must havesMarketing qualifications would be usefulAbility to combine words and pictures in a simple and effective way Strong in colour co-ordination Can create simple but effective single or multiple promotional garment campaignsPractical photography hobby certainly beneficialSALES ADMINISTRATION Communicating with customers and suppliers Tracking projects and delivery datesSetting up new accounts and new developmentsWork with the team to achieve best outcomesSupporting the Sales TeamSome PA support to the directors GENERAL SKILLS YOU NEED Ability to multitask, show initiativeExperienced in account managementAgree to work with our systems and processes for consistency throughoutWord, Excel, Illustrator proficiency, you can show your competency at interview timeProven performer at meeting deadlinesMathematically inclinedCentral business software use and knowledgeVery strong English written and verbal skillsApparel industry experience preferred THE BEST FIT FOR THIS ROLE IS A PERSON WHO: Has an organised approach to work, can prioritise, plenty of initiative, is a solution thinker Naturally follows up on tasks until completeMust be able to communicate and fit in with the teamYour default position is waking up in the morning thinking positively and optimisticallyYou have an eye for detail, an inquisitive approach, understand being efficient and effectiveCan work under pressure Likes to work with structure and understands the benefits of sound processesMust be professional and ethicalYou have a warm friendly personality and can engage easily with other staff GENERAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Our team work closely together to get the job done whether it be a small or big project.
